Omar Mejia began his career at Arvest in 2002 and joined the mortgage team in 2016. Omar has a passion for providing solutions to his customers, offering tailored plans to meet their unique needs. Omar is a graduate of John Brown University with a degree in organizational management. In 2013, he was honored to be selected as one of the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal's "Fast Fifteen", a designation to 15 individuals under the age of 30 who have demonstrated leadership skills to their employers and are considered to be on the fast track to success. He has also been awarded the "Best of the Best" honor, which highlights the top 16 producers among all Arvest mortgage lenders, for three of the five years in which he has been part of the division. Moreover, Omar was recognized as one of the Top 250 Latino Mortgage Originators in the nation in 2020 and 2021.

Omar and his wife, Sandra, are proud parents of a son (Ozzy, 9) and daughter (Jezel, 4). His family is his source of inspiration, and they provide him a daily reminder of the importance of home ownership.
