Omar Mejia began his career at Arvest in 2002 and joined the mortgage team in 2016. He is passionate about providing solutions to his customers and formulating plans to meet their unique needs. Omar graduated from John Brown University with a degree in organizational management. He was honored to be selected as one of Northwest Arkansas Business Journal's "Fast Fifteen" (2013), a designation for 15 individuals under the age of 30 who have demonstrated exceptional leadership skills. Ten years later, he was recognized as one of Northwest Arkansas Business Journal's "Forty Under 40" (2023), a prestigious list that celebrates the achievements of 40 young professionals under the age of 40 who have made significant contributions to their industries and communities.

In 2022, the Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette awarded Omar first place as Best Mortgage Loan Officer, and in 2023, he was awarded third place. Omar consistently receives the "Best of the Best" honor, highlighting the top 16 producers among all Arvest mortgage lenders. Moreover, Omar was recognized as one of the Top 250 Latino Mortgage Originators in the nation in 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 & 2024.

Omar and his wife, Sandra, are proud parents of a son and daughter. His family is his source of inspiration, and they provide him with a daily reminder of the importance of home ownership.
