Ryan Smith

Having originally joined Arvest Fayetteville in 2002, Ryan Smith joined the mortgage side of the bank as a loan officer in 2007. Starting his mortgage career in Little Rock for Arvest, Ryan has consistently been one of the top producers in Arvest and earned several promotions, the most recent being to Vice President. He has received such accolades as being named to Arvest’s Best of the Best for the past 15 years and top originator in Arkansas. In his time with Arvest his experiences include deposit services, processing and closing mortgage loans, originating mortgages, and managing loan officers and assistants. In 2014 Ryan accepted an offer to relocate back to Fayetteville with Arvest to join their mortgage team.

Since Arvest has been the largest mortgage company in Arkansas (in volume) since 2001, Ryan uses the wide range of resources he has at his disposal to assist his clients through the home lending process, as well as assisting with his clients’ financial portfolio and banking relationship. He prides himself on exceeding expectations and cherishes the relationships he gets to establish with the people he has opportunity to assist in homeownership. To date he has closed over $650 million in mortgages for his clients.

Ryan and his wife, Sydney, live in east Fayetteville where they are members at Fellowship Bible Church. In addition to attending the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree, Ryan has earned several other accreditations such as being an alumnus of the Dale Carnegie Leadership course. He has been a governor's appointee on the Arkansas Governor's Council of Fitness and is active in such organizations as Mortgage Bankers Association and Habitat for Humanity.
